Almost every day, I visit traditional markets. We make sure from the vendors because we are committed to giving and ensuring that the prices are affordable, and the stocks are available
Bogor, W Java (ANTARA) - Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga expressed commitment to continually monitoring and ensuring that food is affordable and available during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and ahead of the Eid holidays.

"Almost every day, I visit traditional markets. We make sure from the vendors because we are committed to giving and ensuring that the prices are affordable, and the stocks are available," the minister told reporters after reviewing the food prices at Baru Market here on Tuesday.

Sambuaga noted that the commitment is not only from the central government but also from regional governments, including the Bogor City Government, to ensure the availability of staple goods.

The availability and affordability of food items, such as cooking oil, beef, chicken, chili, onion, and flour, are still safe.
